Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
Important: The Household Financial Manager is a free organisational tool designed to help you track your finances. It is not financial advice, not a regulated financial product, and Uraeun does not provide advice regulated under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
1. About Uraeun
Uraeun is a professional services company registered in England and Wales, providing remote administrative, compliance, logistics, and technology services. These terms apply to all Uraeun services including the website, Household Financial Manager, ReView, ReGale, ReSync, Reflections, and the Splash Watersport platform.
2. Use of Services
By accessing or using any Uraeun service, you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over to use our services. You agree not to misuse our services, attempt unauthorised access, or use them for any unlawful purpose.
3. Household Financial Manager — Software Licence
- The free version is provided as-is with no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
- A paid multi-account licence grants removal of advertisement tiles and access to additional account slots. The licence is personal, non-transferable, and tied to the email address used at purchase.
- The software operates entirely offline. We make no guarantee of continued availability of licence validation services, though we will endeavour to maintain them.
- The software is a personal organisational tool only. It does not constitute financial advice. Any figures, forecasts, or calculations produced are for your own planning purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions.
- Uraeun accepts no liability for errors, omissions, or data loss arising from use of the software.
3a. ReView — Software Licence
- ReView is a Windows desktop application for HGV workshop and fleet management, provided under a paid licence purchased through Stripe. A free demo mode is available with reduced record limits, for evaluation before purchase.
- Each licence code is single-use and activates one installation, network user copy, or named technician seat. Licence codes are personal to the purchasing organisation and non-transferable. There is no time limit on an activated licence.
- Licence activation requires an internet connection at the point of activation. There is no offline activation path.
- Purchases are one-off payments, not subscriptions. Except where required by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for distance purchases, licence purchases are non-refundable once the code has been issued and activated, as digital licence delivery is treated as fulfilled on issue.
- ReView is a business tool for workshop and compliance record-keeping. It is not a substitute for professional DVSA/VOSA advice, and Uraeun accepts no liability for compliance decisions made using data recorded in the software. Users remain responsible for the accuracy of inspection records and for meeting their own statutory obligations.
- Uraeun accepts no liability for data loss, downtime, or errors arising from use of the software, though we will endeavour to maintain licence validation services and provide reasonable support.
3b. ReView — Technician Accounts and the Technician Portal
- Technician seats are purchased by, and administered exclusively by, the organisation's own main licence holder ("the admin"). Uraeun does not create, verify, or manage individual technician accounts, and has no ability to add a technician to an organisation's account directly.
- The admin is solely responsible for creating technician logins, setting and communicating PINs, and for the accuracy of the name and organisation details entered when creating each technician user. A PIN acts as that technician's credential for both local and portal access — the admin is responsible for choosing and managing PINs securely.
- The technician portal (review-cvs.com) allows a technician to authenticate with their organisation name and PIN in order to download the ReView application. This authentication check exists to limit downloads to genuine, currently-active seats within the organisation's purchased quota; it is not itself the primary login system, and grants no access to any organisation's data. Actual day-to-day sign-in happens locally, within the customer's own installation of ReView, on the customer's own network.
- Deleting a technician user within ReView frees that seat for reassignment. Deactivating a user ("Active" unticked) is a temporary pause only and does not free the seat. The admin is responsible for removing technicians who leave the organisation or should no longer have access, including for security reasons.
- Uraeun logs technician download events (organisation name, technician name, IP address, and timestamp) against the purchasing organisation's account, for the purposes of licence quota enforcement and detecting unauthorised or excessive use of a licence.
- A restricted-role user (a full desktop login with individually configurable permissions, distinct from a technician's portal-and-mobile-only access) may be granted the ability to add or remove other users at the admin's discretion. The admin remains responsible for who is granted this ability and for the consequences of any changes made by a user they have authorised to manage other users.
3c. ReView — Automatic Updates
- ReView periodically checks for newer versions of the software and may prompt the user to download and install an update. Installing an update requires the user to actively choose to proceed; updates are never installed without this confirmation.
- Update downloads and installation require an internet connection. If declined, ReView will continue to prompt for the update on subsequent use rather than installing automatically.
- Uraeun aims to ensure updates are tested and reliable but accepts no liability for data loss, downtime, or compatibility issues arising from an update, beyond its general obligations under section 3a above.
3d. ReGale — Weather App and Subscription
- ReGale is a weather forecasting web app. A free tier is available; extended features are provided under a paid subscription (billed annually, six-monthly, or quarterly) via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and no partial refund is given for the unused portion of that period.
- Weather forecasts, radar data, and related information are provided for general planning purposes only. Uraeun sources this data from third-party providers and cannot guarantee its accuracy, and accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on it, particularly where personal safety may be involved (e.g. severe weather, flooding, or travel conditions).
3e. ReSync — Family Calendar, Notes and Reminders
- ReSync is a shared calendar, to-do list, and notes app intended for use by family members or other small, trusted groups who invite each other into a shared calendar.
- Each user is responsible for the accuracy of information they add to a shared calendar and for who they invite to join it. Uraeun does not moderate or review calendar content and accepts no liability for disputes between members of a shared calendar, or for missed events, reminders, or notifications arising from network issues, device settings, or notification permissions outside Uraeun's control.
- Push notifications require the user's device and browser permissions to be correctly configured; Uraeun cannot guarantee delivery of any notification.
3f. Reflections — Wardrobe App, Messaging and Community Features
- Reflections is a personal wardrobe organisation app with optional social features, including messaging between users ("Connect") and user-generated content.
- You are responsible for content you post or send through Reflections, and must not use it to harass, threaten, impersonate, or send unlawful content to another user. Uraeun may suspend or ban an account, at its discretion, for breach of this term or for any conduct it reasonably considers harmful to other users or to the platform, without obligation to provide advance notice.
- Reflections' admin panel and moderation tools are used at Uraeun's discretion to enforce these terms. A banned or suspended user may contact [email protected] to appeal.
- You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. photographs of your own items) but grant Uraeun a licence to store and display it within the app as necessary to provide the service. Uraeun accepts no liability for content posted by other users.
4. Professional Services
Where Uraeun provides remote professional services (administration, logistics, compliance support), the specific terms of engagement will be agreed in writing prior to commencement. These general terms apply in the absence of a specific agreement.
Services are provided with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Uraeun does not provide regulated legal, financial, or medical advice.
5. Splash Watersport Platform
Splash Watersport is a community information platform. Water quality data, conditions reports, and other information are provided for general interest only. Always exercise your own judgement and check official sources before entering open water. Uraeun accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from use of information on the platform.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, and branding produced by Uraeun remains the intellectual property of Uraeun. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any Uraeun content without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
By downloading, installing, or using any Uraeun software (including ReView, ReGale, ReSync, Reflections, and the Household Financial Manager), you accept these terms in full, including this section. Download or first use constitutes acceptance; no separate signature is required.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uraeun accepts no liability for any loss, cost, damage, or expense — including but not limited to lost profit, lost business, lost data, lost time, or costs of any replacement service — arising from any failure, defect, bug, downtime, data loss, security incident, or unavailability of any Uraeun software or service, however caused. This exclusion applies regardless of whether the loss arises from the software itself, from an update, from a third-party service the software relies on (including payment processing, hosting, or data storage providers), or from Uraeun's own acts or omissions.
Where any liability cannot lawfully be excluded (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud), nothing in these terms limits or excludes that liability. Subject to that, Uraeun's total liability in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service in the preceding 12 months, and Uraeun is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
If you are a consumer rather than a business, some of the exclusions above may not apply to the extent they are found unreasonable under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection law; in that case, the remainder of this section continues to apply.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance. Current terms are always available at uraeun.com/terms.
